’twas a peaceful night
no sound of footsteps going upstairs
no sound of trash bags being thrown outside just near my window
no treadmill-like sound from the second floor.
no siren from i-don’t-know-if-it’s-ambulance-or-patrol-car from the highway just outside my apt.
but even so, I still can’t sleep, feels like no one is around, is it because of the silence? or is it because I got used to these sounds/noise that it gets to my system and I’m beginning to find it abnormal not to hear them? whatever it is………
i want to sleep.
sleep, please come and take me with you.
maybe i’m just hungry, i’m craving for french fries from mcdonalds.*sigh

(should be another post but i’m posting it here, lazy girl i am)
oh yeah, i just remembered, i went out with friends for a 2-hour karaoke session.
not bad, i was able to sing my heart out, though I’m not good at singing nor do I have a
beautiful voice. I just read the lyrics, and poof! I have burned at least 10kcal, hahaha!
that was what the videoke machine shows, not your score but the kcal you burned.
isn’t that nice? you don’t have to worry what score you’ll be getting, so you can sing to your heart’s content. i think they should also use this in RP, instead of score that tells if a person is good or not, why not show how healthy it is to sing? deshou? In that way, people who are shy or those who don’t want to sing because they are worried they might get low scores can try to sing.;)
Japanese people are really good at thinking different ways on how to view a certain thing.
I just love it, it’s all sooo cool and healthy living.
